2. Tell people what you do. If you are a straight A student, say so! if you won the spelling bee, tell them! If you got the lead role in the play, mention it!

3. Research things, learn, explore. if you are very knowledgeable in something the majority of people find interesting, people will come to you for facts, and will be impressed.

4. Read and write. Most people will find it amazing that you published a book. Everyone also lives book recommendations when they can't find a genre that they like.

5. Be brave. Step up and say "I will do it." If you don't do it, who will?
