2. Follow credible footsteps. Make sure the people you admire and emulate have a track record of hard work, honesty, integrity, diligence and success. Tyron Edwards said, “People never improve unless they look to some standard or example higher and better than themselves,” while Charles A. Fowler said, “The best teachers of humanity are the lives of great men.”

3. Render help freely. Assist people without insisting to be paid. With time, your selfless attitude will be rewarded beyond your imagination. Have a good name. The book of Proverbs chapter 22 verse 1a says, “A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches…”

4. Finish what you start. Endeavour to have ‘the finishing spirit.’
